On Thursday, February 27, Homo Digitalis hosted the first workshop on the AI Act for Civil Society Organizations at the ViOS Coworking space in Athens, Greece.
More than 20 organizations participated, representing a wide and diverse range of backgrounds, all sharing an interest in collaborating on the challenges and opportunities emerging from the AI Act.
As a partner of the AI4YW (Artificial Intelligence for Young Women) project, KEAN – Cell of Alternative Youth Activities had the opportunity to participate in the event and present the project’s objectives and upcoming actions. The project aims to empower young women with digital and AI-related skills, promoting inclusion and equal opportunities in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
We would like to thank Homo Digitalis for the excellent organization of the event and for providing a space for constructive dialogue on Artificial Intelligence, ethics, and governance.
The workshop was supported by the European AI & Society Fund and European Digital Rights (EDRi), whose contribution is vital to fostering cooperation and awareness around AI and its societal impact.
