On Friday 29 November at City Hall of Municipality of Amfilochia the Multiplier Event of PAW project took place. Project manager from KEAN Athina Abatzidi presented the objectives of the project and shared the results created (benchmarking report, educational materials, guides for teachers and parents) during its implementation. In total 20 participants, students from Gymnasium of Amfilochia attended the event with their teachers and members from Municipality. The event engaged participants in educational campaign “Adopt Animal in Your School” and successfully promoted awareness of animal welfare protection and animal rights. Through the presentation of project results the benefits of therapeutic contact with animals were highlighted. Students were very excited about the practices presented and teachers expressed their interest in including the educational material in the school program.
