From May 5 to 9, 2025, the 4th International Staff Week took place in Alexandroupolis, within the framework of the Consortium of International Credit Mobility of Greek Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) under the Erasmus+ KA171 Programme. The event brought together representatives from universities, institutions, and organizations from around the world to discuss “The Future of International Mobility and Partnerships & EU Funded Projects.”
On Tuesday, May 6, KEAN – Cell of Alternative Youth Activities participated in the plenary session with two presentations:
- “Promoting Social Inclusion through KEAN & the Diversity Charter Greece” by Ms. Raina Melissinou, Senior Project Manager at KEAN
- “KEAN’s European Projects: Empowering Youth, Diversity & Sustainability” by Ms. Athina Abatzidi, Senior Project Manager at KEAN
During the session, KEAN presented its active European initiatives that promote social inclusion, youth empowerment, and sustainability, with a special focus on the AI4YW (Artificial Intelligence for Young Women) project. The project aims to enhance young women’s digital and AI-related skills, enabling them to fully participate in the evolving digital and labor market.
Participants showed great interest in the innovative approaches presented and engaged in fruitful discussions on how Artificial Intelligence can support education, inclusion, and equal opportunities for young people worldwide.
We would like to thank the organizers of the 4th International Staff Week for the excellent coordination and for providing a platform to exchange ideas and strengthen partnerships between European and international institutions.
