KEAN – Cell of Alternative Youth Activities, in collaboration with ADHD Hellas, successfully hosted the three-day Erasmus+ training “The Neurodivergent Adult in Education – As a Colleague and Educator” in Málaga, from 19–23 July 2025. The event brought together educators, trainers, and youth workers from across Europe to explore good practices, innovative methodologies, and inclusive approaches in adult and vocational education.
Showcasing the GreenHive Project
During the training, KEAN presented the European project “GreenHive,” an initiative that supports Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers in strengthening green competences and integrating sustainability into their institutions.
Participants were introduced to the concept of Green Combs—small, dynamic internal hubs designed to foster collaboration, green innovation, and sustainable action within educational organisations. These hubs aim to empower teachers and trainers to lead environmental initiatives and engage learners in meaningful sustainability practices.
The presentation also highlighted the GreenHive online platform and the project’s educational resources, demonstrating how these tools can enhance teaching, support capacity-building, and promote the transition towards greener, more resilient learning environments.
A Space of Inclusion, Inspiration, and Collaboration
The Málaga training created a vibrant environment where professionals openly shared experiences related to neurodiversity, accessibility, and lifelong learning. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions, hands-on activities, and collaborative reflection, strengthening their commitment to inclusive and sustainable education.
