Action Type: Innovation Action

SENSin is an innovative workshop that will aim at transnational symbiotic partnerships and public engagement through holistic exploration of the senses. The project will involve conceptual exploration to enhance audience experiences along with the development of specific methodologies for creative collaborations and communication with an artistic purpose. The creative and cultural sector has taken a hit in the last year and a half. With this project, we want to help the recovery effort by restoring a positive attitude towards creativity
and strengthening exploration and experimentation in transnational and intercultural partnerships. We propose a project that will benefit both creatively remote audiences and cultural creators/professionals. At the same time we will engage with inclusive practices, thus revolutionizing sensory experiences. We propose a project that focuses on engaging audiences across a broader spectrum, bringing to the fore the inclusion of people with sensory disabilities. Innovative practices will be at the heart of sensory approaches with project partners exploring the potential of experiences that focus on understanding the basic human senses and enhancing them in the context of a multi-sensory cultural experience. Within this project we will prioritise wider public engagement, establishing sustainability practices for cultural/creative projects and achieving an international dimension through this collaboration. For these purposes, we will develop an action plan with experiential and NFE activities using various digital tools that will lead to engaging sensory events at local and intercultural level and apply methods of communicating/understanding art to wider audiences. At the same time, we will establish sustainability practices for cultural creative projects both in terms of sustainability of productions and ecological impact implemented and evaluated through the activities of this project.
