Summary

The project is about gender-based violence, particularly violence between teenagers on dates.

Having positive relationships in adolescence is very important for the well-being of adolescents. Too often they are accompanied by violence, which can range from abusive teasing to sexual abuse.

The objectives of the project are:

1. To educate and raise awareness among young people in order to change their attitudes and behaviour towards violence during dating and sexual relationships in adolescence.

2. To increase the capacity of stakeholders and professionals and strengthen multi-stakeholder cooperation.

3. Evaluating how the project has led to changes in attitudes and behaviours.

4. Increasing EU practice in implementing child participation to prevent violence against young people on dates.

Project outputs:

1. An approach was created to promote respectful and tolerant teenage dating relationships.

 2. Increased adolescents' understanding of gender equality, healthy relationships, stereotypes and gender roles.

3. Adolescents' skills to deal with and resolve conflicts in their relationships were enhanced

4. Increased knowledge and skills of professionals to deal with the phenomenon.

5. Strengthened cooperation between stakeholders to combat teen dating violence.

6. The child participation approach was promoted.

7. Knowledge about the impact of the project was accumulated.

8. The results of the project were widely disseminated.

Project Manager

Από το 2013 έως το 2022, στο Ίδρυμα Ιατροβιολογικών Ερευνών της Ακαδημίας
Αθηνών συμμετείχε σε πλήθος ερευνητικών προγραμμάτων. Έχει διεθνείς
δημοσιεύσεις και έχει συμμετάσχει σε ερευνητικά συνέδρια τόσο στην Ελλάδα
όσο και στο εξωτερικό. Επί σειρά ετών, διδάσκει στη δευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση.
Αναπτύσσει και υλοποιεί εθελοντικά προγράμματα νέων σχετικά με την έρευνα.
Ταυτόχρονα συμμετέχει σε δράσεις προστασίας περιβάλλοντος, πυροπροστασίας
και φροντίδας αδέσποτων ζώων.


Μιλάει αγγλικά και ισπανικά.
Εντάχθηκε στο ΚΕΑΝ το 2018 και μέχρι σήμερα έχει διαχειριστεί δράσεις και έργα
σε εθνικό και ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο. Τον Νοέμβριο του 2022 ολοκλήρωσε το
μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων για Στελέχη του
Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιά.
