Stavros Milionis

President of KEAN

He was born in Ilion, on 25 May 1973.

He is the founder and President of KEAN.

He studied Physics at the University of Patras and he was trained at the Training Institute of Munich in Telecommunications.
He speaks English.
He worked at SIEMENS in DIP as a Software Engineer and later in the same company as an Account Manager in Telecommunications Equipment Sales.

Since 2002 he has been working for OTEGLOBE in the International Sales department and since 2004 at OTE as Key Account Manager in the General Directorate of Domestic Providers.
In 2010 he became Head of Public Sector and European Programmes at OTEGLOBE.

From May 2011 to November he was President of the Organization for the Management and Administration of the "Antonis Tritsis" Environmental Awareness Park. After the merger of the Organization, he participated in the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Agency for the Management and Administration of Protected Areas of Attica.

Katerina Psycha

Communication Director

Katerina is a graduate of the Public Institute of Educational Training, in the field of Journalism, certified by the Ministry of Education. She has more than fifteen years of experience in the field of Public Relations, specializing in technology and health and she also is a radio producer. In KEAN she is responsible for the program "Diversity in Business" as well as for the implementation of other European programs.

Raina Melissinou

Senior Project Manager

Raina has studied theatre and has an MBA with a specialisation in Marketing from Kingston University. She has twenty years' experience in magazines and newspapers as a content editor and in communications and advertising as a senior copywriter. She is currently working at KEAN in the implementation of national and European programmes.

Myrtali Florou-Chatzigiannidou

Accounting and staff management

Mirtali is a graduate of the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of West Attica, with a Master's degree in Business Administration-Tourism Management (MBA) from the University of Piraeus.

She joined KEAN in 2020 and works as the accounting and personnel manager of the KEAN.

Athina Ampatzidi

Project Manager

Η Αθηνά Αμπατζίδη έχει αποφοιτήσει από το Τμήμα Εποπτών Δημόσιας Υγείας του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Αττικής και είναι κάτοχος μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου σπουδών στη Βιώσιμη Ανάπτυξη με ειδίκευση στη Διαχείριση Περιβάλλοντος από το Χαροκόπειο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών. Μιλάει αγγλικά και ρωσικά. Έχει εργαστεί ως επιδημιολόγος και αναλύτρια στο χημικό εργαστήριο της ΕΥΔΑΠ. Εντάχθηκε στο ΚΕΑΝ το 2020 και μέχρι σήμερα έχει διαχειριστεί πολλές επιχορηγήσεις δράσεων και έργα σε εθνικό και ευρωπαϊκό/διεθνές επίπεδο.

Filippos Gkavos

Managing Director

He was born in Rhodes on 9 October 1970. Graduate of the Evelpidon School (class of 1992), with postgraduate studies and certification in Project Management ((IPMA)and IT engineering. Additional training in intercultural education of refugees. He has 25 years of experience in management and IT engineering in Greece and abroad (Oman - Arab Emirates). He joined KEAN in December 2021 and works on the management of national programmes and the coordination of the KEAN's Shelters for Unaccompanied Minors. He speaks English, French and Arabic.

Sonia Maravelaki

Project Manager

Sonia holds a degree in Genetics from the University of Liverpool and a Master's degree in Medical Genetics and Immunology from Brunel University, London. She has extensive experience in the field of molecular biology and in the last year has been involved as a project manager in European projects. She speaks Greek, English and Spanish.

Elisa Salvatori

Project Manager

Elisa has studied Political Science and International Relations in Italy and Spain and then continued her studies by graduating from the Master's Degree Programme "Media and Refugee/Migrant Flows" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She started volunteering and participating in international Workcamps and Erasmus+ project implementationat the age of 18, working in various organisations across Europe for 8 years. She has extensive experience in the field of non-formal education and youth, having implemented and coordinated projects for adolescents and adults on topics such as migration, gender, sustainability and social inclusion. She speaks Italian, English and Spanish..

At KEAN she mainly works on proposal writing and Erasmus+ project implementation+.

Violeta Karoutsou

Accounting Manager

Violeta is a graduate of the Economics Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

She has worked for years in the accounting departments of large companies, such as shipping and food import-export companies.

She joined KEAN staff in 2022.

Marilena Stathopoulou

Project Manager

 Marilena holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of West Attica, a Master's degree in Service Management from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a graduate of the Fashion Design and Technical Construction program of the school ROMINA KARAMANEA. She has experience in the management and implementation of the European Programmes HORIZON and ERASMUS+, in the field of New Technologies and Sustainable Practices in the Fashion Industry. Additionally, she has 10 years of work experience in commercial product category development in consumer goods and consumer behaviour research. At the same time, she is active in the fashion industry, with the creation of a sustainable brand, applying sustainable and ethical fashion practices. 

Eva Ziotou

Social Worker

Eva Zotou has studied social work at the Hellenic Mediterranean University and is studying psychology at the Metropolitan College of Maroussi. As part of her internship, she has worked at the Smile of the Child, at Agios Charalambos Psychiatric Clinic and in several primary schools.

Vasia Karkantzou

Social Worker

Ms. Karkantzou is Senior Bid Manager and Head of the Project Development Department of KEAN. She holds a degree in Social Work and a Master's degree in Local and Regional Development and Social Cohesion. She has more than 15 years of experience in designing, delivering and evaluating high quality social services for vulnerable groups and a good track record in human rights protection with a focus on migration, asylum and international protection, victims of violence, exploitation and trafficking. To date, Ms. Karkantzou has successfully managed numerous action grants and technical assistance projects at national and European/international level, while providing expert services in related research, capacity building and other types of field activities and interventions. Through her work in the civil society sector, she has effectively pursued and managed funds from the European Commission, the UN and other donors for the benefit of vulnerable social groups.

Dimitra Sofianou

Project Manager

Dimitra is a graduate of the Psychology Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In the same department she completed her Master's degree in "Social Psychology and Psychosocial Interventions", while she continues her studies with continuous trainings. She has worked in academic research projects and in supporting vulnerable social groups programmes. She is currently working at KEAN in the European Programmes Implementation Team.
