Summary
The main objective of the THEO project is to promote physical activity with animals (primarily dogs) in order to foster long-term healthy habits that contribute to the reduction of physical and mental illnesses, as well as social issues such as loneliness, within a symbiotic relationship in which both species experience the benefits of shared exercise.
The activities include digital tools such as video games, an e-book, a website, and dissemination through various platforms, as well as in-person events, workshops, and conferences, supported by a strong communication and inclusion strategy aimed at broad outreach to the general public.
A key goal of THEO is to create a new transactional movement to promote psychosocial well-being through physical activity accompanied by an animal, as a way to make these healthy routines memorable and sustainable.
