Summary

- DiverseVET aims to build a more inclusive and accessible Vocational Education and Training (VET) ecosystem across Europe. The project will establish five national Centres of Vocational Excellence for Diversity in Cyprus, Greece, France, Germany, and Lithuania, integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into education and workforce development systems.

The project addresses systemic barriers faced by underrepresented groups in the labour market, including women, people with disabilities, migrants, ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and older workers. Through innovative training approaches, collaboration with employers, and skills development initiatives, DiverseVET seeks to create equal opportunities in education and employment.

Key activities include curriculum co-design, Diversity and Inclusion Innovation Labs, awareness-raising campaigns, and the development of learner-centred training pathways across EQF levels 3-7. In addition, specialised training programmes will be created for HR professionals, diversity managers, inclusion officers, and diversity auditors. By strengthening cooperation between VET providers, businesses, public authorities, and civil society organisations, DiverseVET will contribute to more resilient regional VET ecosystems and support Europe's green and digital transitions while fostering social inclusion and equal participation for all.
