The 1st International Event and the Kick Off Meeting of the European project 4Include held from 4th to 7th November 2022 in Municipality of Larisa, Greece. In total 30 participants from 7 European countries (Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Latvia, Malta, Spain, Sweden) attended to the 4 Day Event “Kick off meeting and Analysis of Migrants and refugees in Greece” at Larisa. attended the Event discussing and analysing the activities their organizations implement and their interaction with immigrations sector. After that, Mr. Ioannis Mpoumpas, Coordinator of the Shelter of Unaccompanied Minors Larisa presented the Shelter, a brief history and explain their working plan. Also, Mr. George Lachanas, researcher of Shelter of Unaccompanied Minors, made presentation of the Greek Good Practices implemented generally in the area and specially in the Shelter.
At the end of the day, hosting organizations KEAN and Municipality of Agia organized cultural visits to Agiokampos and to Shelter of Unaccompanied Minors in Larisa in order to present the territory and the good practices implemented on it. At the Shelter the participants had the chance to see the infrastructure of the Shelter, talk with the staff working there and meet the unaccompanied minors, hear their stories and discuss about their problems and their dreams.
