2nd Transnational Project Meeting of the project


Practical Learning for Action & Networking via an Educational Tool, Inspiring Study of Environment

The 2nd Transnational Meeting and the next phase of activities of the project “PLANETISE”, which is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, under the auspices of the Turkish National Agency “Center for European Union Education and Youth Programmes”, took place in Athens on 20 December 2017.

The main objective of “PLANETISE” is to transfer, further develop and apply an innovative educational tool, which is aiming at the awareness and education of young people regarding the environment, its significance and its conservation, in 6 different EU countries.

During the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting in Athens, the partners of the “PLANETISE” presented the progress and the results of the completion of Activity 4 of the project, concerning both the development of a Needs Analysis Report by each partner organization and the development of a Comparative Needs Analysis Report with a view to achieving the analysis of the needs that exist in the respective country in terms of Environment and Environmental Education. At the same time, the partners discussed regarding the progress of the project, organized the upcoming activities and agreed on the next steps.

The next transnational Project Meeting of the project “PLANETISE” is going to be held in Italyduring May 2018, where KEAN, as the original developer of the methodology of the Environmental Educational Game “Planetbook” in cooperation with the partners will finalize the Trainer’s Kit which will contain the working methods in order to carry out the activities of the Environmental Educational Game “Planetbook” which will be tailored to the needs of each country.

The project “PLANETISE” is coordinated by Ataturk University (Turkey) and it involves in total 7 partners from 6 different countries (Greece, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Romania and Portugal), including academic institutions and non-governmental organizations active in the project in the fields of Environment, Education and Culture.

The project PLANETISE will be completed in May 2019.
